Nvidia GTX 650 Ti Boost Challenge Radeon HD 7790

Nvidia GTX 650 Ti Boost Challenge Radeon HD 7790

Jakarta – Not long after AMD launched its latest graphics processor, the Radeon HD 7790, to fill the mainstream classroom, Nvidia did not remain silent and be ready menggeber rival product through Boost GeForce GTX 650 Ti.

Naming Boost on the back of the mainstream series leads directly to the clock speed that it has, which of course has got a touch of ‘turbo’ from Nvidia. Boost rumored GTX 650 Ti GPU Boost feature.

With these features, the GTX 650 Ti Boost which actually has a clock speed of 980 MHz can dynamically increase the clock speed to 1033 MHz as needed. Moreover Boost GTX 650 Ti has 768 CUDA cores armed, 64 TMU, 24 ROP.

While the sector is supported by the use of GDDR5 memory running on a 192-bit interface that comes with a capacity of 1 GB and 2 GB respectively by Nvidia priced at USD 149 (USD 1.4 million) and USD 169 (USD 1.6 million) . Similarly, as quoted from Techpowerup, Wednesday (27/03/2013).

Pre-Order Asus 31.5″ 4K IGZO Monitor for $3500

Pre-Order Asus 31.5″ 4K IGZO Monitor for $3500

Asus is reportedly now taking pre-orders for its 31.5 inch monitor (PQ321Q) featuring Sharp’s anti-glare LED-backlit IGZO technology. It sports a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160, 140 pixels per inch, and not only cuts down on energy consumption but features an extremely long durability given that Sharp’s tech doesn’t constantly refresh the images. It’s all static until something moves on-screen.

The company introduced the new monitor last month, reporting that Sharp’s IGZO tech supports smaller transistors than amorphous silicon thanks to significantly higher electron mobility. It also not only reduces energy consumption, but reduces the monitor’s overall bulk as well: at 35 mm at its thickest point, the PQ321 is the thinnest 4K UHD monitor available today, the company said.

A Sharp rep said during CES 2013 in January that the 31.5 inch panel will be marketed to professionals first given the end-price. The prototype also had ten-point touch input which apparently didn’t make it into the company’s own PN-K321 31.5 inch IGZO monitor selling for $5,000 USD. The Asus model also doesn’t support touch.

The upcoming PQ321Q supports wide 176° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, 10 bit RGB “deep” color, and an 8 millisecond gray-to-gray response time. Other features include a 0.182 mm pixel pitch, a max brightness of 350 cd/m2, a max contrast ratio of 800:1, picture-by-picture support and HDCP support. The monitor’s typical power consumption is 93 watts.

On the connectivity front, the I/O panel has two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and an RS-232C port for old-school VGA connections. There’s also a 3.5 mm mini-jack for PC audio input, a 3.5 mm mini-jack for AV audio input, and a 3.5 mm mini-jack for earphones (for HDMI and DisplayPort).

Last month the company said that the new display is the “equivalent to four Full HD displays stacked side-by-side.” It can now be pre-ordered on Amazon here, and on Newegg here, both requesting $3,499.99 USD. The monitor is slated to arrive on July 16, 2013.

Axioo Neon BNE, Notebook Starter with Tempting Spec

Toshiba name may not be as famous as Hewlett-Packard (HP), Dell, Asus, or other branded PC vendors. But for business aggressiveness, this local brand PC vendors do not want to lose. Especially in the beginner class notebook segment.

One product is the hero Axioo Neon BNE with D423N series that hypnotize prospective buyers through the oblique and speksifikasi price that is not less slick.

Perception of most people is, affordable notebooks have not considered ‘offal’ special. But sometimes many are forgotten, if not all notebook users requiring a high specification and prefer products that match the contents of the notebook bag.

Moreover, even the entry-level segment has the largest share of the notebook product than fill up flagship high-end class, because it is dominated by high school students to college students.

Intel will offer ‘Broadwell’ SOC to battle Calxeda, AMD

Intel will offer ‘Broadwell’ SOC to battle Calxeda, AMD

Intel has updated its road map with a new, low-power server chip to help it ward off competition from Calxeda and other makers of low-power chips.

The new chip will be based on Broadwell, a microarchitecture to be introduced next year as the successor to Intel’s Haswell design. But this processor will be a system-on-chip, setting it apart from Intel’s other Xeon server products.

SOCs combine several components onto a single chip to reduce power consumption and space requirements. In the server market, they’re often used in micro-servers, a type of low-power server used for large-scale, online workloads.

Intel already offers SOCs in its Atom family of chips, but Atom has its own microarchitecture. The new chip announced Monday will be Intel’s first SOC that uses the same microarchitecture as its more powerful Xeon chips.

“With this new product, we’ll be delivering the best of both worlds: high performance and high density,” said Diane Bryant, general manager of Intel’s data center and connected systems group, at an Intel event in San Francisco.

She didn’t give a name for the new chip but said it will ship next year. It will be manufactured on a 14-nanometer process and include integrated I/O, networking, and application accelerators, Bryant said.

The chip essentially allows Intel to straddle the gap between its current Atom processors, which focus on low power consumption, and its Xeon processors, which are tuned for higher performance but use more electricity.

“They’re trying to cover the whole market. They’ve decided it’s better to have a little bit of overlap than to have any gaps,” said industry analyst Nathan Brookwood of Insight64.

The chip comes at a time of heightened competition in the server market. Rivals such as Calxeda and Advanced Micro Devices are building low-power SOCs using designs from UK chip architecture company ARM, and the new chip from Intel is its latest response to that trend.

Intel didn’t say on Monday if the new chip will be branded as a Xeon or an Atom. Its place between the two product lines could create some confusion for customers, Brookwood said, though he thinks Intel will eventually decide on Xeon.

It’s not the only chip Intel has for low-power servers. The company recently began shipping a Xeon E3 processor based on the Haswell core, and versions of that chip based on Broadwell are expected next year. They will be “general-purpose” Xeons, as opposed to SOCs specifically for low-power, high-density systems.

In its Atom family, Intel will begin shipping a new chip later this year code-named Avoton, based on a new chip core known as Silvermont. Compared with the current Atom core, Avoton will offer “a 3x improvement in power at the same performance level, or a 5x increase in performance at the same power,” according to Bryant.

The tablet is equipped with a -Core CPU and one gigabyte (GB) RAM, ensuring the smooth rendering of high-quality apps and complex games.

The internal memory ranges starts from 8GB and can be extended via SD card up to 32GB.

For the operating system, it comes together with the latest 4.2.2. that run optimally with the component, Ting highlighted.

For this minimal price we have here a Tablet equipped with HDMI hook-up, Bluetooth and GPS and a Quad-Core CPU as well as a webcam that records Full-HD videos.

“At the moment we are only offering the wifi model and depending on the demand we may bring in the 3G version of the tablet as well,” Ting explained.
